Bitcoin has no supernatural or saving power. If I pray to Bitcoin to set my alter on fire, I look as silly as the prophets of Baal when I worship something other than God. I am also reminded of the people of Israel who immediately after being miraculously rescued from Egypt, took their earrings off, made a golden calf out of it, and worshiped it. This is a very entrenched thing in the human spirit for some reason: to worship anything other than God, the most obviously worshipable thing.
